CAF President calls for open and massive support for Morocco

Following the official announcement of the Kingdom of Morocco's bid to host the 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup, CAF President Ahmad, takes note of this decision and has called on all African National Associations to join forces for open and massive support for their candidature.

In that context, the CAF President has received the support of the presidents of the six zonal unions.

Ahmad said he was ready to initiate a gathering of African football's strong forces to convince the world community of the validity and the desirability of the African candidature based on real organizational capacities.
